How to Do the Tamanu Oil Dry Scrub:
My favorite way to use it happens to be as more of a dry scrub.
on your stretch marks, or anywhere you want to exfoliate, encourage the tamanu to sink into your skin, and ultimately soften and heal.
How to Do the Tamanu Oil Dry Scrub:
Put some drops of Tamanu oil, over the skin you want to exfoliate.
(make sure your skin is clean, No makeup)
Massage for a minute or two.
Take a small handful of sand into the palm of your hand, and very, very softly massage the sand, around on your skin.
Do this for 3 -5 minutes.
Rinse with water.
Left behind will be amazingly soft, glowing skin. It may still feel a tiny bit oily for a while, but it sinks in relatively quickly. Within 10-15 minutes
Tahitian Women also apply a few drops of Tamanu Oil to their hair after shampooing.
It adds an attractive, natural sheen to the hair.

Just an advice of care: Please avoid sugar or salt as an added exfoliant ! Both are raw crystals with knife-sharp edges, which add micro-cuts to your surface skin, leading to thickened epidermis after a while.
ReplyDeleteBetter use sand (all edges rounded more or less) or almond's bran for a very delicate skin.....
Other then this - Tamanu is a drop of wonders !
Hi, Martina thanks for the comment and the advice about sugar..
